Terms of Service
The rules and guidelines for using Snap§720. Last updated May 7, 2025.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Snap§720 ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a homeowners association or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Snap§720 is a document compliance platform for Florida homeowners associations operating under Florida Statute § 720.303. The Service provides document upload, automated PII detection and redaction, compliance tracking, and public document access for HOA members.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. New accounts begin with a 14-day free trial. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
4. Subscription and Billing
After the trial period, continued use requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Prices are listed on our website and may change with 30 days' notice. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal — access continues through the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months. If payment fails, a 7-day grace period applies before the account is restricted.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: upload content that is illegal, fraudulent, or violates third-party rights; attempt to access other HOAs' data or circumvent security controls; use the Service to store content unrelated to HOA operations; reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; share login credentials with unauthorized individuals. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Your HOA retains ownership of all documents uploaded to the Service. Snap§720 acts as a data processor on your behalf — we process documents solely to provide the Service (redaction, storage, and delivery). We do not access, sell, or use your document content for any other purpose.
7. PII Redaction Disclaimer
The automated redaction feature uses machine learning to detect and permanently remove personally identifiable information from documents. While we strive for accuracy, automated detection is not guaranteed to identify all PII in every document. Board members are responsible for reviewing redacted documents in the review workbench before approving them for publication. Snap§720 is not liable for PII that is not detected or for documents published without adequate review.
8. Service Availability
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned maintenance. No service level agreement (SLA) is provided.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snap§720 and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. You may cancel your subscription through the billing portal. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms or non-payment. Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export your documents. After 30 days, uploaded documents and account data will be permanently deleted. Audit log entries are retained as required for legal compliance.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Florida.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address on your account at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
